Engage Communities as a Construction Project Coordinator on Site

About the Role

As a Construction & Community Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for community engagement and construction oversight. You will monitor project activities, connect stakeholders, and ensure clear communication throughout the entire construction process.

In this key role, you will work on-site in Caledon, Peel Region, bridging the gap between project teams, contractors, and the community. Your expertise will ensure project communications are proactive, timely, and maintain stakeholder engagement across the board. With a strong focus on community relations, you will help deliver infrastructure projects that enhance regional services and connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with project managers and external agencies
• Develop and maintain project engagement plans
• Monitor and report construction progress regularly
• Host public information sessions for stakeholders
• Prepare newsletters and updates for community outreach

Requirements

• 2-3 years in project management or community engagement
• Experience on construction sites with infrastructure projects
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree or post-graduate diploma required
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
