We are looking for a part-time (20h/week) Engineer* DevOps, remote, starting immediately.

In connection with the introduction of the enterprise search solutions iFinder and iAssistant from IntraFind, our client is seeking an OpenShift DevOps employee* for the configuration and deployment of these products within their own container infrastructure. The candidate* will work closely with internal teams, supporting them through mentoring and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Configuration of IntraFind products (iFinder & iAssistant) according to business requirements
• Performing product updates and version migrations for IntraFind
• Development and expansion of existing pipelines and deployments
• Evaluation and optimization of deployment strategies
• Knowledge transfer, mentoring, and conducting workshops within the team
• Design, implementation, and management of CI/CD environments and associated processes
• Setup, operation, and configuration of complex container system landscapes throughout their entire lifecycle
• Migration of existing applications into distributed container environments (CI/CD context)
• Creation and management of Docker environments
• Design and implementation of orchestration solutions with OpenShift / Kubernetes
• Consulting and coaching development teams on CI/CD best practices
• Market observation, evaluation of new technologies, and development of introduction strategies
• Evaluation and maintenance of development tools and IDEs

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics or proven equivalent knowledge
• IntraFind iFinder & iAssistant: Practical experience with at least version 5, ideally version 6 is essential
• OpenShift / Kubernetes: Container orchestration with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Helm – advanced knowledge required
• Docker / Podman: Comprehensive experience in setting up, configuring, and managing container environments
• IntraFind Deployment: Proven experience in deploying IntraFind products, ideally in Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Linux Administration: Several years of practical experience with Linux distributions and system administration
• Sound Java knowledge and practical experience with the corresponding development environments
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy and Python, and practical experience in the Agile Toolchain with GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus, Jira, Ansible, Gradle, and/or Maven is a plus
• Enthusiasm for complex technical challenges, quick comprehension, strong sense of responsibility, and teamwork skills
• Very good German and English skills
