Headquartered in Rosenort, Manitoba, just 35 min south of Winnipeg, K.A. Group also maintains a manufacturing warehouse facility in Wisconsin.

About the Role:

The Engineering Summer Student will support the engineering team with design, documentation, testing, and project tasks during the summer term. This role provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing and product development environment.

key duties and responsibilities

• Assist with drawings, design updates, and document revisions
• Support testing, validation, and product development activities
• Help maintain bills of materials, work instructions, and engineering documents
• Collect and organize project data
• Support continuous improvement projects with engineering and production teams
• Assist with prototype builds, inspections, and other assigned tasks

qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering or Engineering Technology program
• CAD software experience is required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Work environment

• Combination of office and shop environment
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures

The final compensation range may vary above or below the posted band based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with the role requirements.
