About the Role

As an Engineering Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading technical execution and ensuring high-quality standards for successful project delivery. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Product Management to align technical roadmap with business priorities, overseeing project execution, setting technical direction, and maintaining rigorous quality and operational standards. Your role involves a dual mandate that covers both Technical Delivery and Team Leadership:

Responsibilities

Technical Delivery

• Drive technical execution of the roadmap, ensuring timely completion of projects meeting high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with Product Management to manage the technical roadmap and balance feature development, technical debt, and operational stability.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, managing expectations, and mitigating technical risks for project success.
• Take accountability for the team's deliverable quality, contribute to defining engineering quality standards, and provide technical guidance to unblock the team and ensure scalable solutions.

Team Leadership & Growth

• Attracting, nurturing, coaching, and retaining top engineering talent.
• Developing career progression plans, offering real-time feedback, and providing valuable training opportunities for continuous learning and development.
• Contributing to shaping and executing the vision for the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional engineering experience.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Experience with Web and Native (iOS) applications.

Core Skills

• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentorship abilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for managing client and stakeholder relationships.
• Good knowledge of design and architectural patterns, as well as development best practices.
• Proven success in driving complex, cross‑functional engineering projects from concept to production.
• Solid technical judgment to guide and mentor engineers on design and implementation.
• Experience in defining and implementing quality standards in engineering practices.
• Previous experience collaborating on highly distributed teams across multiple countries and time zones.
