Engineering Change Management (ECM) Contractor

About the Role

You’ll own and drive the end-to-end Engineering Change Order (ECO) lifecycle in Agile PLM, ensuring seamless execution across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and field operations. This role reports to the ECM Lead and plays a key part in enabling hardware and electromechanical product changes at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ECO lifecycle (Pending → Implementation) for hardware/electromechanical systems
• Perform ECO documentation and Buy-Level Traceability (BLT) audits
• Validate BOMs, AMLs, and regional deployment readiness (US, EU, JP, etc.)
• Coordinate Pre-CCB and CCB reviews including cost, impact, and compliance analysis
• Ensure revision control across Agile PLM and CAD systems
• Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Field Ops, and Engineering teams
• Manage supplier change requests (SREAs) and inventory disposition decisions
• Monitor ECO cycle times and drive process improvements
• Maintain compliance with material and regulatory standards (RoHS, REACH, etc.)

Required Experience

• 7+ years in Engineering Change Management / Configuration Management / PDM
• Hands-on experience with Agile PLM (or similar systems like Windchill, Teamcenter, Enovia)
• Strong understanding of ECO/ECR/ECN workflows and BOM structures
• Experience in electromechanical manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of supply chain, compliance, and revision control processes
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience

• Oracle Agile PLM (especially Amazon Robotics environment)
• Robotics / automation industry exposure
• CAD integration (SolidWorks / 3DEXPERIENCE)
• ERP systems (Oracle EBS)
• SREA / supplier change management experience
• Multi-region compliance (CE, UL, IEC)

Additional Details

• Up to 15% travel required (manufacturing/supplier sites)
