Your Daily Life

The Gennevilliers Campus is at the heart of the design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radiocommunications, resilient network and infrastructure systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is easily accessible by public transport.

This position ensures the missions mentioned below under the functional authority of the Program Manager. It is responsible for the engineering performance plan of the project, supported in this capacity by the Head of Engineering Delivery of the Competence Center, by the management of the CC and the sector:

  • Defines the solution development cycle as well as the processes, practices, and tools applicable to its product/project based on the BL/Domain repository and the specific constraints of the project (e.g., tools imposed by the Client). These elements are detailed in the corresponding development plans.
  • Ensures the overall consistency of processes, practices, and tools, organizes co-engineering, and then approves the plans for solution elements or lower-level components, including those of subcontractors and partners.
  • Identifies the engineering skills required for Offer/Project/Product deliveries.
  • Ensures that engineering performance initiatives in its domain are correctly deployed on its Offer/Project/Product.
  • Guarantees that the commitment to the project includes meeting stakeholder requirements within the constraints provided by the Architect and the Project Design Authority.
  • Optimizes technical work by organizing system reviews and participating in those of lower-level solution elements from design to validation and acceptance.
  • Monitors the competitiveness KPI, performs causal analysis of problems, and leads associated corrective actions (e.g., performance initiatives) at its level.
  • Contributes to quality assurance activities by ensuring QAM visibility on all engineering work for the Offer/Project/Product.
  • Jointly with the PDA (Project Design Authority):
    • Establishes and reviews technical risks & opportunities and associated action plans throughout the offer or project,
    • When used, establishes and maintains the decision tree and associated actions,
    • Prepares the DVa and submits it for approval by the Design Authority (DA),
    • Approves major engineering reviews and deliverables,
    • Organizes technical meetings and peer reviews as necessary to successfully complete the technical evaluation and validation of the Solution or a Solution element.

The PDA focuses on the technical solution (the "what"), while the EDM focuses on technical management (the "how"). Work is carried out in an integrated multi-departmental team and in a co-engineering approach, applying Lean methods (Key Decisions / Knowledge Gap, pull scheduling, Obeya).

Your Profile

  • Good knowledge of performance management processes, Co-engineering, pull flows.
  • Ability to lead the project team to address multi-disciplinary technical subjects in Cyber, Emission, and infrastructure installation.
  • Experience in Agile development, Lean, and Co-engineering.
  • You have a strong analytical and synthesis capacity, and are recognized for your leadership, interpersonal skills, teamwork, and ability to convince under high pressure?
