Looking for a dynamic hands-on Engineering Design Manager to lead custom, complex heavy industrial design and team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual 3-D models.
• Capable of working on medium/heavy custom designed equipment.
• Able to make occasional site visits to the U.S.A.
• Comfortable with making sales presentations of designed solutions to customer problems.
• Supervisory involvement with site installations.
• Capable of reviewing technical design packages, bill of materials, and technical documents.
• Correspond with customers and vendors redetailed requirements.
• Scheduling of personnel.
• Review of departments systems and software with an eye to improvement.
• Strong verbal and written skills.

Qualifications

• Capable of managing a department of 5-8 personnel.
• 10+ years custom heavy machinery design experience. Steel Industry or Heavy Material Handling equipment experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer designation.
