Engineering Foreman

About

Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Engineering Foreman to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. You will be responsible for supervising engineering maintenance activities to ensure safe, high-quality and efficient equipment performance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental standards and procedures.
• Support planned maintenance activities, including scheduling and resource coordination.
• Conduct inspections and monitor quality of maintenance work performed.
• Monitor equipment performance and downtime to ensure accurate reporting and effective repairs.
• Ensure availability of required spares and support timely execution of maintenance work.
• Review job cards, maintenance feedback and oil analysis results to ensure quality standards are met.
• Supervise and manage workshop discipline, performance and teamwork.
• Identify training needs and address performance issues with team members.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Valid Trade Test Certificate (Earthmoving Equipment/Diesel Mechanic)
• N3 Certificate in Engineering Studies
• 5 years' experience POST trade with minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory/foreman position
• 3 years' experience on crushing and screening plants within an opencast mining environment
• Experience working on CAT 777 machines
• Valid Driver's License

Benefits

• Salary: R720K - R900K P/A
