Express Professionals is hiring an automotive engineering manager to lead a team of technicians, machinists and engineers. The selected candidate will be responsible for engineering strategy, product & process development, cost optimization and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead/mentor/coach a team of engineers and highly skilled technicians.
- Create a technical strategy, develop engineering priorities and adhere to a budget.
- Implement and monitor technical strategy performance metrics.
- Communicate team goals with staff members.
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field of study.
- 8+ years of automotive experience.
- 3+ years in an engineering management/leadership role.
- Tier 1 automotive experience and in depth understanding of PPAP, APQP and the like.
- Strong leadership and technical decision-making skills.
