Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you'll work in a supportive environment that values strong managerial capabilities, technical involvement, and teamwork. Your Role
- Oversee and manage a dynamic team of engineers across multiple locations, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
- Drive product discussions and contribute to design and architecture decisions utilizing your technical expertise in Hypervisor and operating systems development.
- Conduct regular code reviews to uphold quality standards and advocate best practices within the team.
- Facilitate the integration of new open‑source applications into our platform.
- Support team members in troubleshooting technical challenges and enhance their problem‑solving capabilities.
- Engage in the hiring process by conducting interviews and determining the cultural fit of candidates.
- Assess team dynamics and implement strategies to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Build strong relationships within the team to nurture a collaborative and high‑performing environment.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience leading an engineering team focused on product development.
- Skills in leading complex technical discussions regarding design and architecture.
- Understanding of product priorities to maximize team output.
- Strong technical knowledge of Linux operating systems, KVM/Qemu, and system software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Python, Rust, and Go.
- Familiarity with the confidential computing and security domain is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage engineering teams in larger organizations.
- Experience in product discussions, design, and architectural decision‑making.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a history of resolving technical issues adeptly.
- A knack for fostering collaboration in a geographically diverse team.
- Exceptional managerial abilities with a focus on leadership and constructive feedback.
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) is preferred.

Compensation
- The expected salary range for this position starts at USD $164,000 and can go up to USD $328,800 per year.
