About

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager / Design Engineer with a strong background in structural steel design and team leadership. This role involves designing and managing engineering efforts for complex structural, mechanical, and electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in steel structures, hands-on design experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams while ensuring high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret customer specifications, drawings, and technical contracts
• Design structural, mechanical, and electrical components for engineered systems
• Lead and manage engineers, draftsmen, and detailers
• Collaborate with manufacturing, installation, and sales teams
• Ensure projects meet timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and architects
• Apply relevant industry standards and codes in all design work

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) License (Required)
• 5+ years of experience post-PE licensure
• Strong experience in structural steel design
• Experience in manufacturing or construction environments
• Prior leadership or team management experience preferred
