Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain strong customer and vendor relationships, supporting company growth and aligning with organizational values and goals
• Provide leadership for project management, supervising, mentoring, and developing Project Managers/Engineers to ensure high‑quality, on‑time execution
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and quality‑system principles to enhance productivity, efficiency, and operational performance
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and quality‑system requirements, participating in audits, maintaining documentation control, and upholding high standards of safety, reliability, and customer service
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Production teams to optimize processes, implement best practices, and support equipment and facility improvements
• Lead technical and operational initiatives, including reviewing tooling designs, evaluating processes and materials, supporting capital equipment decisions, and contributing to departmental goals and budgets

Qualifications

• BS in a scientific or engineering field (BSME preferred), with added value from Lean, Six Sigma, quality, and management‑methodology training
• 5+ years in manufacturing operations plus 5+ years of people management, including project management responsibility
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing tools, FMEA, GD&T, SolidWorks or similar CAD platforms, and exposure to plastics/injection molding or medical‑device environments
• Understanding of ISO 13485, OSHA practices, safety protocols, and statistical analysis tools such as Minitab
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (IQMS a plus), and bilingual Spanish ability as an added asset.

Salary: $90k - $120K
