We anticipate a salary range of $162,000 to $180,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

Oversee the engineering function with accountability to meet operational and regulatory needs.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Manage the engineering function to address station needs and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the performance and development of engineering personnel in alignment with site and corporate goals, ensuring the achievement of high-quality engineering outcomes.
  • Provide engineering and technical leadership for both immediate and long-range programs that affect site operations directly and through subordinate teams.
  • Engage in Business Planning, Budgeting, and Business Performance reviews regarding assigned staff.
  • Act as a senior resource for company-wide programs and initiatives related to enhanced and standardized engineering systems and processes.
  • Fulfill various job assignments and responsibilities as directed by management, including emergency response, departmental support, and involvement in outage activities outside the department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) or a related field, or hold a Professional Engineer license, or possess an active/inactive SRO License with 5 years of engineering or related experience that includes at least 1 year of experience in a nuclear power plant.
  • Must comply with additional requirements specified in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard, pertaining to the selection, qualification, and training of personnel in Nuclear Power Plants.
  • Maintain the necessary access or unescorted access qualifications, including a favorable medical and/or testing outcome as required by the role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer Registration.
  • Advanced technical degree or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • Experience in supervisory or managerial roles.
