Position Overview
The Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers to develop innovative solutions and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion. This position requires strong leadership skills and technical expertise in mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes to drive product development and ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineers in the design and development of mechanical systems.
- Oversee the engineering processes and ensure adherence to best practices in manufacturing and design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive new product development and innovation.
- Review and approve engineering designs and documentation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Ensure that engineering projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering staff to foster professional growth and development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering management or a similar role.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD software.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
- Experience with electrical systems and lighting design is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with new product development and RFC processes.
