About the role
We are seeking an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in fintech or e-commerce to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of solution architecture, developer relations, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices and will be responsible for driving technical excellence, team performance, and scalable product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
• Provide oversight on solution architecture to ensure alignment with business and technical goals.
• Review system designs and guide engineering teams on best practices.
Team Management & Developer Relations
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers.
• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Act as a bridge between engineering teams and other business units.
DevOps & CI/CD
• Oversee and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployments.
• Implement and manage DevOps processes to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in version control, testing, and deployment.
Product Delivery
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and timelines.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software engineering within Fintech or E-commerce environments.
• Strong experience in solution architecture and system design.
• Proven experience managing engineering teams and driving technical projects.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of modern software development frameworks and technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
