About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our engineering department and drive technical excellence across our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on leader with deep experience in manufacturing environments, strong engineering fundamentals, and the ability to guide a high-performing team. Experience in HVAC systems or HVAC-related manufacturing is considered a significant asset and is highly recommended for this position.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee engineering projects, support production efficiency, champion innovation, and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Oversee all engineering activities, including product development, process optimization, technical troubleshooting, and manufacturing support. • Drive engineering strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring efficient resource allocation and project execution. • Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales to support operational performance and customer requirements. • Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to resolve complex technical issues. • Support new product introductions, design improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives. • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal engineering procedures. • Provide technical leadership in HVAC-related systems, components, or manufacturing processes (if applicable). • Manage engineering documentation, change control, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Present project updates, technical recommendations, and performance metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications • ·Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred). • 7+ years of progressive engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role. • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, product design, and engineering best practices. • HVAC industry experience—whether in design, manufacturing, or system integration—is highly recommended and considered a major asset. • Proven ability to lead senior-level engineering staff and manage complex technical projects. • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. • Demonstrated success in driving process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiency. • Proficiency with engineering software, CAD tools, and project management methodologies.

Requirements
