About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Engineering Manager (m/f/d) for the Engineering department as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Leading groups in Application Management Engineering for mechanical existing products as well as pre-series products for EV
• Taking on a politically demanding leadership and mediation role between different stakeholders, departments, and levels, including in international teams
• Disciplinary and technical responsibility for several teams and experts.
• Strategic contribution to the further development of technical and organizational processes, structures, and interfaces.
• Responsibility for planning, controlling, and prioritizing projects; including managing critical escalations and adjusting project goals.
• Confident navigation in a technically oriented environment with the ability to assess technical issues and make decisions based on relevant information.
• Identification of project risks and independent initiation of suitable measures.
• Strengthening customer relationships through reliable communication and confident management of demanding customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor, FH, or University) or a comparable technical qualification.
• Several years of experience in product development in a technical environment - ideally in internationally networked organizations and/or in the automotive sector.
• Experience in dealing with technical challenges, decision-making dynamics, and organization-wide prioritization processes.
• Proven experience in managing complex stakeholder landscapes and controlling challenging projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including in English.
• Experience in building and maintaining relationships at various levels - operational, technical, professional, and strategic.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to provide direction in demanding situations.
