Engineering Manager

About

The Engineering / Project Manager leads project-based engineering support and oversees scheduling and execution within a manufacturing environment. This role supports cross-functional teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures projects are completed on time while meeting quality and production goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous management/supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, lean manufacturing, and production processes
• Experience with resource planning, team leadership, and performance management
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and G-code programming software (AP100 or similar)
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support across all production and value stream teams
• Coordinate technical support and resolve manufacturing issues in a timely manner
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen events
• Monitor productivity metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
• Ensure clear communication across engineering, production, and leadership teams
• Maintain project schedules and support on-time delivery for internal and external customers
• Remove barriers impacting team performance and support daily operations
• Develop and mentor team members, including conducting performance evaluations

Employment Type

Full-Time, DIRECT HIRE

Salary

Pay is $130,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience
