Engineering Manager

Our client seeking a technical leader to guide a high-performing engineering team responsible for enhancing and maintaining a suite of enterprise technology solutions. This role will oversee team execution, technical delivery, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration while contributing hands-on to engineering initiatives when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and product development initiatives by overseeing technical projects, team performance, process improvements, and new product development.
• Manage engineering staff, budgets, and resource planning while supporting cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, operations, and quality teams.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts, evaluate project feasibility and costs, monitor project progress, and help implement strategies that improve product quality, operational efficiency, and business growth.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years’ experience in engineering, mechanical design, or similar.
• At least 4 years of direct managerial experience leading and directing a team.
• Proficient in the use of CAD design and analysis tools.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office software, knowledge and experience with MS Project a plus.
• Ability to take periodic travel required to support customer onsite meetings and reviews, both domestic and international. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
