Engineering Manager

About

The Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers, CAD designers, field engineers, and technicians to develop, design, and deliver high quality project work. This role combines technical leadership with project and personnel management to ensure that engineering solutions meet our clients requirements, safety standards, and our business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management

• Lead, mentor, oversee, and expand our team of engineers and technical staff.
• Oversee project assignments, resource planning, and workload balancing.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching and professional development, client follow up, and business development support.

Project Oversight

• Manage multiple engineering projects from concept through completion and provide installation support.
• Ensure projects meet technical and financial goals, and client satisfaction.
• Review and approve design documents, drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including system installation, materials procurement, and business development.
• Interface with clients to define requirements, provide technical guidance, and present viable solutions.

Technical Excellence

• Develop and maintain engineering standards, templates, and best practices.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning for the engineering department.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or comparable.
• 8+ years of experience
• 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership or managerial role.
