Job Description
- Lead and manage a team of 8 engineers, including Tooling Engineers, Product Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers
- Drive the engineering department within a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing operation specializing in CNC Machining, Cold Forming, and Heading
- Oversee and direct Design, Quoting, Tooling, and Process Improvement initiatives across the department
- Collaborate cross-functionally with quality and manufacturing teams to clarify and resolve technical issues
- Interpret and address technical challenges related to products and customer applications
Key Requirements
- BS Degree in Engineering highly preferred
- Background in the automotive industry is strongly desired
- Experience with fasteners, CNC Machining, or Cold Forming/Heading operations
- Demonstrated expertise in Design and Process Engineering
