Why we hire

Based in Lyon, our R&D team builds an innovative data platform. We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to ensure reliable, consistent delivery aligned with product vision, while growing the team through coaching, hiring, and strong execution.

What you will do • Lead, coach, and grow engineers (performance, career development, well-being) • Recruit and scale the team (interviews, hiring decisions) • Drive execution: prioritize, delegate, manage dependencies and risks • Ensure predictable delivery timelines and high-quality standards • Partner closely with Product Team to deliver customer value • Ensure agile process execution and run (or delegate) ceremonies • Align with other Engineering Managers for platform consistency • Co-lead technical direction with Tech Leads; contribute to reviews and occasional coding • Promote continuous improvement (tools, practices, tech watch)

Who you are • Experience managing and developing software engineers • Strong delivery and prioritization skills; comfortable owning commitments • Solid engineering background (quality, testing, CI/CD, code review, architecture trade-offs) • Knowledgeable of secure software development & architecture practices • Able to combine a wide conceptual, business, and technical vision to guide decisions and align execution with product goals • You agree that it’s not just the software that counts, it’s also the people behind it! Working with others is key to success • Passionate about Developer experience • Effective communicator and cross-team collaborator (especially with Product) • Comfortable in an Agile/Scrum environment • Fluent in English and French

Nice to have • Enterprise software experience (B2B / SaaS) • Data management background (MDM, integration, governance, ETL/ELT) • Java and/or modern web stack exposure • Experience improving engineering productivity (DX, tooling, observability)
