Lead a high-performing engineering team rebuilding the financial backbone for American agriculture and industry. You will own the full employee lifecycle, from hiring senior talent to mentoring engineers, while scaling a modern platform that replaces legacy paperwork with automated tools for accounting, banking, and real-time financial clarity.

What You Will Do

• Manage the full employee lifecycle for 4-5 engineers, focusing on hiring senior ICs, coaching, and career development as the team scales.
• Partner with Product and Design leadership to influence the roadmap, balancing technical debt with the delivery of high-impact full-stack features.
• Champion engineering excellence by establishing project management hygiene and guiding the team through complex architectural trade-offs in a TypeScript and React environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven leadership experience with 2-5+ years in engineering management at high-growth startups (Series A-D) and a strong background as a high-performing IC.
• Technically sophisticated and AI-native, with the ability to reason about how LLMs and modern tooling are fundamentally changing the software development lifecycle.
• Exceptional people-first instincts, focusing on solving organizational challenges through mentorship and culture before moving to technical implementation.
