What You Will Do

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle for 4-5 engineers, focusing on hiring senior ICs, coaching, and career development as the team scales.

  • Champion engineering excellence by establishing project management hygiene and guiding the team through complex architectural trade-offs in a TypeScript and React environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven leadership experience with 2-5+ years in engineering management at high-growth startups (Series A-D) and a strong background as a high-performing IC.
  • Technically sophisticated and AI-native, with the ability to reason about how LLMs and modern tooling are fundamentally changing the software development lifecycle.
  • Exceptional people-first instincts, focusing on solving organizational challenges through mentorship and culture before moving to technical implementation.
