Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Design and day-to-day management of complex projects on a wide variety of building types, such as hospitals, higher education, public sector buildings, and commercial office buildings
• Act as lead engineer providing guidance, training, and mentorship to staff
• Construction administration of projects, including processing submittals and site inspections
• Assure all assigned deadlines are met
• Assure clients are satisfied, and all assigned deadlines are met

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. Civil Engineering
• M.S. Structural Engineering
• P.E. license
• 8+ years of experience in the design of multi-story buildings at structural consulting firm(s)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in design using engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, RAM SS, ADAPT, and EnerCalc.
• Experience in AutoCAD and Revit drafting is a plus
