Engineering Manager - B2B Fintech Infrastructure

About the Company

I'm partnering with a B2B fintech company revolutionizing cross-border payouts for Money Transfer Operators using stablecoin infrastructure. Their mission focuses on solving real-world global payment challenges through crypto technologies.

Role Overview

You will be in charge of an engineering team that contributes to building core backend systems, which handle secure and mission-critical transactions.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a team of engineers through recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and performance management.
• Driving the planning, prioritization, and delivery of technical projects in coordination with stakeholders.
• Maintaining high code quality, security, robust architectures, and adherence to engineering best practices, including code reviews, standards, and documentation.
• Contributing to architectural decisions, technical design, implementation, and the continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Taking full ownership of deliveries, proactively communicating risks, and aligning team needs with leadership and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• Experience managing software engineers.
• Strong hands-on software engineering background with the ability to contribute to architecture and code when needed.
• Proven ability to take full ownership of deliveries from development to production.
• A quality-driven mindset, but able to balance rigor with speed.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or cross-border money transfer platforms.
• Familiarity with blockchain or stablecoin infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and building high-availability, low-latency systems.
• Exposure to ISO 27001 or SOC 2 standards.
