Engineering Manager - Electrical New Product Development

Job Summary

Our client, a leading aerospace and defense communications organization, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead electrical new product development and legacy sustainment initiatives for advanced tactical communication systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical engineering teams supporting radio communication products
• Drive project schedules, budgets, resource planning, and risk management
• Support design integration across RF, FPGA, DSP, Mechanical, Firmware, and Systems teams
• Oversee technical reviews, requirements management, and project execution
• Support manufacturing operations, testing, and new product introduction initiatives
• Participate in cost reduction and product improvement programs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• 9+ years of engineering experience
• 2+ years of engineering management or project leadership experience
• Experience in electrical new product development environments
• Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance
