About the Role

Engineering Managers at PPRO have the passion and abilities to build collaborative teams that deliver high-quality, scalable and performant products. You will not only lead the engineering strategy but will play a hands-on role in enabling financial inclusion and global eCommerce. You will partner with Product to drive the technical strategy and evolution of our transactional accounting system, elevating the ledger into the company’s financial backbone and definitive source of truth for cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with your Product Manager to develop the technology strategy and define the boundaries of the transactional accounting system
• Lead the system evolution to elevate the ledger into the company’s financial backbone, enabling it to act as the definitive source of truth for PPRO’s cash flow management
• Collaborate with stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Treasury) to identify opportunities, influencing decisions without direct authority using persuasive, data-backed communication
• Lead your team like a startup—succeed, fail, and learn together

Requirements

• Experience designing and building scalable products using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Working proficiency in English
• Accounting/Fintech Domain: Java / Kotlin and Spring Boot
