Requirements

• B. Tech./ B.Eng/ BSc.Eng. Mechanical/ Agricultural Engineering; Pr.Eng./GCC Factories; MS Office/ AutoCAD/ Sketchup;
• 3+ years’ exp. maintenance/ maintenance system management, preferably in food/ produce/ canning / bottling factory.
• Must have knowledge/ experience of maintenance planning/ workshop management / working knowledge of mechanical/ electrical / plumbing/ cooling/ heating systems/ advanced trouble-shooting/ determining causes of operating errors/ project scoping/ setting timelines/ critical path analysis.
• Must have proven people/ management skills/food processing/ Food Safety knowledge / experience an advantage.
• Must have integrity/ initiative/energy/ drive/a positive/level-headed mindset/ able to work in a structured way/ under pressure.
• Must be a natural leader/ a strategic/ structured thinker/ results-driven/ have a proactive approach to system reliability / financial acumen/ budget control discipline/ display excellent communication / analytical skills/ attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license/ own transport.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive engineering / maintenance service to all operations at the factory
• Lead a team of Artisans to provide sound technical advice to the management team on engineering maintenance/ performance/ continuous efficiency/ improvement practices
• Uphold/ improve maintenance/ safety standards.

Report to the Operations Manager.
