Responsibilities
- Manage Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Tool & Die personnel, and capital projects.
- Supervise the facility while providing leadership and direction to personnel.
- Ensure employees are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated to accomplish the program safely, timely, and cost‑effectively.
- Communicate regularly with employees, both individually and as a group, to ensure two‑way communication concerning issues for all shifts.
- Assist with hiring of personnel.
- Conduct employee performance reviews to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution.
- Create capital project reporting for the monthly Operations Review.
- Approve and oversee the design and implementation process, ensuring work is completed within the required time frame and budget.
- Ensure equipment and systems adhere to safety requirements, as well as local, state, and federal industry regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Six to ten years of facility maintenance management experience.
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, T&D Management, Capital Projects Management, or Process Development.
