In a context of growth and structuring of a strategic product line, we are supporting them in recruiting a Java & Data Engineering Manager on a permanent contract in Angers.

Your missions

Reporting to the CIO and working closely with the Product Owner, you will act as both a team manager and technical referent, with a scope combining application and data.

Management & team structuring

• Supervise and support a team of 9 employees (7 developers + 2 data profiles)
• Define objectives, monitor skills progression, and foster expertise development
• Establish a dynamic of cooperation and sharing of best practices
• Actively participate in the structuring and expansion of the data department (upcoming recruitments)

Technical & delivery management

• Contribute to architectural choices and technical orientations (Java environment, Docker containerization, data ecosystem)
• Oversee the design and development of back & front features
• Ensure the quality, robustness, performance, and security of applications
• Contribute to Agile organization in collaboration with the Scrum Master
• Ensure effective project management within your scope
