As part of its growth, we are recruiting for an innovative player developing a business SaaS solution that automates field data collection, improves its readability, and significantly simplifies users' daily operations.
The solution aims to reduce administrative burden and allow operational teams to focus on their core business, through smoother and smarter activity management.
In this context, our client is looking for a Head of Engineering / Lead Tech to take responsibility for an existing team of developers and ensure alignment between product vision and technical execution.
A true pivot between teams, you will be involved in delivery management, technical structuring, and team support, in a demanding and rapidly evolving environment.
Mission
Your key responsibilities:
Delivery Management & Operational Excellence
- Structure and orchestrate sprints to ensure smooth and predictable delivery
- Instill a strong culture of excellence around quality and production releases
- Prioritize topics (bugs, evolutions) and secure roadmap progress
- Resolve complex technical blockers and support the team daily
Technical Vision & Product Collaboration
- Work in close collaboration with the Product Manager
- Challenge and co-construct functional specifications
- Ensure technical feasibility and guide architectural choices
- Maintain the consistency and robustness of the technical ecosystem
Management & Continuous Improvement
- Manage, structure, and develop the skills of the existing team
- Implement performance indicators and track performance
- Foster collaboration with product, business, and support teams
Innovation & AI Usage
- Develop the use of artificial intelligence in development practices
- Identify new levers for optimization in terms of quality and productivity
- Support the team in adopting these new tools
Profile

- Solid experience: 5 to 7 years in development, complemented by a first successful experience in technical team management
- A true product culture: you are comfortable structuring topics (specifications, sprints) and adopt a solution-oriented approach
- High standards for quality: you pay particular attention to code robustness and regression risk management
On the technical side:
- Good command of Vue.js and/or TypeScript
- Comfortable with NoSQL environments (MongoDB or equivalent)
- Good understanding of REST APIs
- Experience with versioning tools (Git) and collaboration standards
- Strong appetite for AI: you already use these tools in your practices and can make them a concrete performance lever for your team
Additional Information
- A trusting hybrid environment (in-office 1 to 2 days per week minimum in Angers).
- Position to be filled starting in June, with handover planned with the person you are replacing.
