Accountabilities

• Drive department-wide conversations around technical issues and engineering practices, suggesting improvements and ideas.
• Ensure the team builds software that is architecturally consistent and of high quality, establishing patterns and best practices.
• Coordinate with engineering and product leads to define, prioritize, and task projects that help us meet business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to promote team members' growth.
• Cultivate a sense of ownership and belonging within the team.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline with a strong coding background in languages such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
• 3+ years of experience in people management.
• Proven ability to manage and design a data strategy and lead the development of scalable data pipelines and integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and tools like Azure or similar.
• Experience working with both relational and non-relational data stores.
