About the role

Role Overview: As a Manager in gTech Tools Automation and Infrastructure, you will be responsible for working directly with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and gTech Ads Leaders to deliver against requirements. You will lead medium-size engineering project teams, vendors, and contractors to define and plan engineering efforts for Tools Automation and Infrastructures (TAIs). Your role will involve reviewing code submissions, design documents, and providing mentorship to ensure engineering excellence and growth opportunities for the team.

Key Responsibilities: - Work directly with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and gTech Ads Leaders to deliver against requirements for Tools Automation and Infrastructures (TAIs). - Author design documents and develop alongside medium-size engineering project teams. - Define and plan engineering efforts, forecasting team-size needs for critical engineering projects. - Review code submissions, design documents, and additional materials created by individual contributors. - Provide mentorship, technical solution designing, and planning, and manage internal stakeholder communication. - Lead the group through growth opportunities to maintain engineering excellence and ensure individual contributors have development opportunities.

Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. - 9 years of experience building and testing APIs or web applications. - 4 years of experience as a Technical Lead or Engineering Manager. - 4 years of experience working with teams and business stakeholders to create product road maps. - Experience with front-end languages (e.g., JavaScript or TypeScript) and back-end languages (e.g., Java, Python, or C++). - Experience building configurable platforms. - Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
