Engineering Manager (w/m/d)

CVS engineering GmbH manufactures compressors and vacuum pumps specifically designed for mobile applications (primarily in trucks, railways, and buses).

Your role

The Engineering Manager is responsible for implementing the company's Product strategy regarding the development, introduction and maintenance of products, developing Engineering in all its dimensions (human, technical, etc.) and achieving technical excellence, technological leadership and innovation for product development and introduction as defined by the company and the Division.

• Completed degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the development and design of technical products
• Solid knowledge of CAD software (e.g., Solid Works) and design tools
• Experience with engineering calculations (e.g., bearing sizing, force calculations)
• Knowledge of project management and working with interdisciplinary teams
• Experience collaborating with universities or research institutions is desirable
• Familiarity with supply chain collaboration and supplier selection
• Strong communication skills, leadership ability, and problem-solving competence
• Experience in optimizing and managing existing products
• Business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken

Languages

Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
