Job Description
The Engineering Project Manager is part of the Program team. As an expert, they support Program Managers in the general and detailed design of technical and operational solutions.
They define the most appropriate operational and technical solution to meet customer requirements, ensuring perfect consistency with commercial contractual assumptions. As such, the Engineering Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end definition of the solution, from operational and technical design to customer validation.
Responsible for the general and detailed design of the solution, they write and consolidate all associated documentation (General Design – GD and Detailed Design – DD) and implement the required tests during the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and System Acceptance Test (SAT) phases, in compliance with customer requirements, while anticipating and limiting technical risks.
With solid expertise in systems engineering, they propose, where relevant, solutions integrating third-party technical subsystems that create value.
With excellent analytical, synthesis, and writing skills, the Project Manager shares their expertise with Bid Managers, Program Managers, and Key Account Managers to enrich commercial proposals.
They also play an active role in customer presentations, during which they defend the proposed technical and operational solutions (GD & DD) and obtain formal validation.
Finally, they support the project throughout its life cycle, from launch to closure, ensuring overall consistency and the success of the deployed solution.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the industrial sector, ideally in an international environment in Bid Manager/Systems Engineer roles or equivalent.
- Solid experience in systems engineering and program management.
- Good knowledge of IT, particularly in programming, networks, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent technical mastery and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage critical projects with tight deadlines.
- Excellent writing skills in French and English.
- Availability for international travel min 50%.
