Engineering Project Manager

Description

• Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedule and budget
• Create scope of work, bid package and project specifications
• Review technical drawings, provide feedback, negotiate changes
• Evaluate safety compliance to local and national codes
• Collaborate with 3rd‑party Safety Compliance Contractors
• Collaborate with multiple groups to design and install equipment and meet project milestones
• Supervise contractors in a green‑field or brown‑field work environment
• Coordinate installation with skilled trades, affiliate companies, engineers and equipment manufacturers
• Develop countermeasures for project delays for timely project completion

Requirements

• BS in Engineering, Technical Trader Certification, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of project management experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
• Proficient with AutoCAD
• Experience in bid specification development and contractor negotiation
• 2+ years of technical drawing review experience

Additional Considerations

• OSHA 10/30 certification
• Experience with client project management
• Automotive paint process experience
• Ability to understand and calculate utility cost
