Engineering Project Manager

About

The Engineering Project Manager provides leadership and oversight of engineering and construction projects supporting the 35th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) at Misawa Air Base. The role ensures successful project delivery in alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements within a high-tempo Air Force environment. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Basic Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant engineering or project management experience
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of cost, schedule, and risk management principles

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of engineering and construction projects
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and performance
• Coordinate with government personnel, contractors, and technical teams
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Air Force and host-nation requirements
• Prepare and deliver project reporting and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification
• Experience supporting U.S. Department of Defense or Air Force programs
• Experience with overseas engineering or construction projects
