Engineering Project Manager (Transmission & Substation)

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead complex, multi-discipline engineering projects—primarily focused on Transmission & Substation infrastructure. This is a high-impact role where you’ll take projects from concept through completion, driving execution, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery across all phases.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead end-to-end project execution across engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and closeout
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget to ensure project success
• Serve as the primary client interface, driving communication and strategic alignment
• Oversee project financials, including forecasting, accruals, and cost control
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure efficient resource utilization
• Lead or participate in risk assessments and mitigation planning
• Drive proposal development, contract negotiations, and business growth opportunities
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC, safety, and environmental standards
• Mentor and guide project team members, fostering growth and performance

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field)
• 7+ years of experience in design engineering, including 3+ years managing projects
• Strong experience in project controls, scheduling, and cost management
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to all levels
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects
• Consulting background
• Professional certifications such as P.E. or PMP
