Work Mode: On site
Estimated Duration: 6‑12 months renewable
Start Date: March/April 2026
Schedule: Day shift, regular hours (no overtime expected)
Language: English (French working knowledge is an asset)
Role Summary
We are seeking a PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Specialist to support aircraft design and development projects. This role involves defining CAD standards, integrating NX/CATIA tools with Teamcenter, and implementing methodologies to enhance engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and document CAD standards using Siemens NX (templates, best practices).
- Develop workflows for CAD (NX) data management within Teamcenter PLM systems.
- Integrate NX, CATIA V5, and Multi‑CAD tools with Teamcenter PLM and troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct mentoring sessions and create user documentation.
- Review CAD models for accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and IT teams.
- Analyze, identify, and propose improvements to engineering processes.
- Participate in workshops to capture requirements and user stories.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant industrial experience with Siemens NX.
- Proficiency in CAD software NX and CATIA V5.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T/PMI and engineering standards.
- Solid understanding of PLM principles and experience with Teamcenter.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to train or mentor others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Assets: Familiarity with aircraft development.
- Strong leadership, autonomy, adaptability, and initiative.
