About the Role
Intellias is looking for a highly motivated and inspirational hands-on Technical Software Engineering Manager with technical background having excellent qualifications to help design and build Desktop and Mobile apps to work seamlessly with related hardware. You will work in a fast-paced environment, to deliver world class apps that delight our customers and help grow the business. You are expected to be hands on and in the details in all phases of development including planning, execution, and release. You strive for the best customer experience, are passionate about building great software, and care deeply about building and strengthening a great engineer team and culture.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for all technical processes and technology decisions for projects within an account / a portfolio
- Interacts with the client senior technical staff to set the account / portfolio technical directions
- Together with the client, defines metrics and sets technical quality targets for multiple or complex client projects, and makes sure our teams deliver to it
- Finds and proposes efficiencies in the project plans
- Creates, publishes, maintains, and executes on multi-year technology roadmap for the client and/or the portfolio
- Oversees the account/portfolio technical dependencies, risks and critical paths
- Shepherds best practices and processes within the account
- Act as a coach to senior engineering teams
- Collaboration with delivery, sales, account management and technology leaders at both new and existing customers to drive new logos and influence revenue
Qualifications
- Location: US (being in Salt Lake City, Utah. California as an option.)
- 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Solution Architecture, Technology Management, Technology Consulting, or CTO role
- Broad and in-depth expertise across multiple technologies (C/C++, Java, C#, Angular, etc.) supported by prior development experience
- Understanding of modern technology trends and technology itself (ex. IoT, Data Science, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Digital Twins etc.)
- Product oriented mindset and experience of Products/Features ideation, through execution till launch
- Proficient in test driven development, automated testing, and the use of testing frameworks
Required Skills
- Experience working with or delivering AI-enabled solutions, including:
- AI agents and automation within software development workflows
- Applying AI to improve developer productivity, testing, code quality, and delivery insights
- Proven ability to support teams adopting AI tools and practices, ensuring responsible, secure, and effective implementation
- Understanding of how AI impacts software architecture, delivery cadence, and operational models
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Solid written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter and can work effectively in a global, distributed team
- External and internal thought leadership
- Ability to act as a coach to senior engineering teams
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to follow and predict market trends
- Fluent English
