Your Daily Life
By joining the teams of the Hardware & Software Technologies, Tools & Engineering Competence Center, you will take responsibility for a multi-disciplinary development work package (hardware, firmware, software) and ensure its commitments in terms of quality, cost, and deadlines.
As an Engineering Work Package Manager, your main missions consist of:
- Organizing and planning a work package by writing its description, identifying deliverables, milestones, resources, and risks.
- Establishing estimates based on a viable solution and in line with the project schedule.
- Defining the cost structure, supplier selection, and relevant indicators.
- Executing the work package, identifying and resolving issues, managing risks and opportunities.
- Monitoring and controlling all work.
- Ensuring the quality of products and delivered documentation.
- Leading the team and/or suppliers involved in the execution of the work package and ensuring all commitments are met.
- Consolidating lessons learned and closing the work package.
Your Profile
- Educated to engineer level or equivalent, do you have proven experience in coordinating various technical engineering activities (hardware, firmware, software)?
- Are you recognized for your ability to plan, organize teams, and ensure the follow-up of engineering projects?
- Do you have a good knowledge of managing subcontracting contracts and work packages?
- Can you produce concise reports and are you comfortable with solving complex problems?
