Position

Technical Writer Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Operating and maintenance manuals
• Online help systems
• Preparing maintenance and service schedules as well as installation instructions
• Preparing technical content in a clear, structured, logical, and target-group-oriented manner
• Reviewing German and English technical documents from internal/external customers and suppliers
• Creating and editing photos/graphics using graphic tools and CAD viewing applications for visualization
• Publishing customer documentation in digital formats, print media, and tablet formats
• Working with databases and content management systems, including their administration

Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training with further qualification as a Technical Writer and initial professional experience
• Initial experience as a technical writer in the field of defense-related products
• Support (ILS) as well as ÖAG requirements
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Specialized knowledge in image editing and CAD
• Self-driven professional development within the field
