Role Overview
ASUS is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Manager to drive the growth of its AI, HPC, and storage infrastructure solutions across South Africa.
This role focuses on developing enterprise and public sector accounts, building a partner-led pipeline, and supporting the execution of complex infrastructure deals involving GPU, compute, and storage architectures.
The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise sales experience with a solid understanding of data centre infrastructure and the ability to operate effectively within local partner ecosystems and procurement frameworks.
Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage enterprise and public sector accounts across South Africa • Identify and qualify opportunities within AI, HPC, and data-intensive environments • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, driving deal progression through to closure • Support complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles across technical, procurement, and business teams • Collaborate with system integrators, channel partners, and cloud providers to drive co-sell opportunities • Work closely with pre-sales teams to develop solution proposals and support technical validation (compute, GPU, storage) • Contribute to account planning and execution strategies • Achieve assigned revenue and pipeline targets
Market & Ecosystem Experience • Experience operating within the South African enterprise, public sector, and cloud ecosystem • Exposure to partner ecosystems (e.g. NVIDIA, CSPs, system integrators) • Working knowledge of South African B-BBEE frameworks and public sector procurement processes (including tenders) is highly advantageous • Existing network within the local ICT ecosystem is beneficial
Required Experience • 5–8 years of experience in enterprise sales, ideally within IT infrastructure or data centre solutions • Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles • Exposure to partner-led or indirect sales models • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills • Professional fluency in English required; Afrikaans or French is advantageous
Technical & Domain Knowledge • Working knowledge of data centre infrastructure • Basic understanding of AI, HPC, or data-intensive workloads • Ability to engage with technical teams and position infrastructure solutions in a business context
Preferred Experience • Experience working with GPU ecosystems (e.g. NVIDIA) • Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) • Experience collaborating with system integrators or channel partners on enterprise projects
