Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Architect for a 6 month contract onsite in Calgary, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess current on‑prem infrastructure architecture across compute, storage, network, and data center platforms
• Define and document target‑state infrastructure architecture aligned with Cenovus enterprise standards and business objectives
• Lead infrastructure design for resiliency, scalability, performance, and security across critical systems
• Provide architectural guidance for NetApp storage, HP server platforms, and CommVault backup/DR strategies
• Review and rationalize data center and networking designs, identifying technical risks and improvement opportunities
• Define security-aligned infrastructure patterns in collaboration with security and risk teams
• Produce architecture artifacts (HLDs, LLDs, roadmaps, decision records, standards)
• Support project teams with design reviews, technical governance, and implementation guidance
• Partner with operations and engineering teams to ensure designs are operationally supportable
• Contribute to modernization planning and infrastructure lifecycle strategies
