About the role
iVision Consulting is hiring an Enterprise Architect - Google Cloud Platform to support our federal client's modernization efforts.
US citizenship is required
Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance is required
Position is hybrid near Rockville/Bethesda, Maryland. Must be onsite 2 days/week.
Responsibilities: • Performs as a consultant within the Google Cloud Platform and methodologies. • Provides technical and specialized guidance concerning the architecture and design of Google Cloud Solutions. • Prepares design documents and provides technical direction in the design of the system.
Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field • Ten years (10) progressive, successful experience managing projects and programs in relevant domains such as biomedical informatics, system design, software development, or application support. • Experience supporting large-scale federal, healthcare, or biomedical research programs • Experience working in data-intensive research environments, preferably within NIH/NCI or similar federal health agencies • Demonstrated experience supporting cloud migration and modernization initiatives • Experience designing and supporting secure GCP architecture • Knowledge of federal security frameworks (e.g., FISMA, NIST 800-53) and HIPAA and human subjects research data protections
Must haves: • GCP experience (can also be AWS, but must include GCP) • Preferably worked with developing new APIs • Experience in health-data related efforts so familiar with PHI/PII controls • Working experience with GCP Firestorm, GCP BiqQuery and other GCP services • Stronger candidates would include projects in NIH or other HHS agencies
Salary:
$160,000.00 annual salary
