What will I do?

NetSuite & SuiteBilling Expertise

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in NetSuite Standard and Advanced ARM modules and SuiteBilling.
  • Design, configure, and implement subscription-based billing solutions using SuiteBilling.
  • Configure and manage:
    • Billing Accounts
    • Subscription Plans
    • Price Books
    • Usage-based and recurring billing models
    • Subscription change orders and amendments
  • Lead invoice generation processes and oversee end-to-end billing operations.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition through Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), including event-based revenue recognition and subscription event processing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve billing discrepancies, system issues, and process gaps.

Implementation & Client Onboarding

  • Lead full lifecycle NetSuite implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Manage onboarding of new customers onto SuiteBilling and NetSuite, ensuring seamless data migration and minimal disruption.
  • Conduct workshops with stakeholders to define subscription models, billing rules, and revenue recognition requirements.
  • Develop implementation documentation, solution design documents, and end-user training materials.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to finance, billing, and operations teams.

Salesforce to NetSuite Integration

  • Design and support integrations between Salesforce and NetSuite billing modules.
  • Ensure accurate synchronization of:
    • Customer records
    • Subscription data
    • Pricing structures
    • Sales orders and billing triggers
  • Collaborate with technical teams to optimize data flow and reduce billing errors.

Data Migration & System Optimization

  • Lead complex data migrations, including:
    • Billing Accounts
    • Price Plans
    • Subscription Plans
    • Price Books
    • Active Subscriptions
    • Subscription Activation Change Orders
    • Subscription Event Revenue Recognition data
  • Validate data integrity and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline billing workflows and enhance automation.

AI

  • Uses approved enterprise AI tools to support research, meeting synthesis, requirements development, process mapping, user stories, test scenarios, and documentation.
  • Validates AI-generated outputs for business accuracy, completeness, relevance, and readiness for stakeholder use.
  • Uses sound judgment to determine when AI can accelerate work and when additional human analysis or review is required.

What will I bring?

  • Advanced proficiency with SuiteBilling and Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).
  • Hands-on experience configuring:
    • Billing Accounts and Subscription Plans
    • Price Books and Pricing Models
    • Recurring and Usage-Based Billing Use Cases
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite’s subscription lifecycle and invoicing processes.
  • Experience executing billing operations and invoicing billable customers.
  • Demonstrated expertise in revenue recognition under subscription event scenarios.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with NetSuite billing systems.
  • Strong background in complex data migration and validation processes.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience working in client-facing consulting environments.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar platforms for analysis, research, and deliverable support.
  • Strong ability to refine prompts, iterate on outputs, and improve result quality based on business context.
  • Ability to explain how AI has been used to improve delivery speed, documentation quality, or analysis effectiveness in prior work.

Hybrid/In office

We are hybrid but there are expectations that if your team leader or client requires you onsite that you are able to meet those expectations/requirements

Compensation

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the expected base salary pay range is $113,000 to $138,000.

In addition, there is potential for a 10% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will depend upon individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
