Job Overview

As an Enterprise Software Account Executive, you will play a key role in selling our innovative software solutions to Independent Software Vendors who develop applications supported by Rocket COBOL. Your expertise in executive-level selling in large enterprises, proficiency in technology sales, and exceptional communication skills will be critical to your success.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead collaborative discussions regarding the COBOL technology roadmap with our ISV partners.
  • Support and enhance sales campaigns targeted at ISV application teams, collaborating with Rocket's sales engineers, marketing, and lab teams.
  • Customize contract terms to align with the unique go-to-market strategies of our ISV partners.
  • Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and ensure reference-ability with clients.
  • Achieve revenue targets and strategic objectives by expanding the sales pipeline and developing effective territory plans.
  • Utilize Salesforce for maintaining accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Collaborate with management to negotiate competitive pricing and contract terms.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leaders of customers, proactively shaping opportunities early in the sales process to foster profitable growth.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of our capabilities and effectively position them against competitors to meet business and IT priorities.

Qualifications We Seek

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in software solutions targeting Global 1000 clients.
  • Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and adaptability in various situations.
  • Experience in a high-performance sales culture that rewards achievement.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, frequently utilizing fresh perspectives.
  • Ability to clearly articulate a vision, influence decisions, organize resources, and achieve results.
  • Dedicated to exceeding expectations and working collaboratively with Sales Management.
  • Strong business acumen and experience navigating relationships with mid-size customers.

Salary Range

$77,000.00 - $103,950.00 gross before taxes. This role includes commission opportunities as part of our compensation plan.
