Solution Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Solution Architect to join our team. This role involves leading the architecture for digital self-serve solutions, designing guided onboarding and digital care experiences, and enabling advanced features like usage-based insights and contextual upsells. You will ensure an inclusive and performant user experience, with a mobile-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end to end architecture for SB digital self serve: plan comparison, quoting, simple CPQ, e signature, identity/verification, instant credit checks (where compliant), and zero touch activation/provisioning.
• Design guided onboarding (connectivity setup, device pairing, number porting), digital care (chat, callbacks, knowledge), and account management (users, lines, add ons, upgrades, moves/adds/changes).
• Implement SB focused bundles (connectivity + devices + security/SD WAN/UCaaS) with streamlined eligibility and pricing rules.
• Enable usage based insights and contextual upsell with real time signals and propensity models.
• Ensure inclusive and performant UX for small teams: mobile first, low friction flows, role based access for owners/admins/users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering/information systems or similar technical area
• At least 12+ years of experience in IT covering at least three of the following areas: architecture, requirements & design, development, testing, application support.
• 4+ years of MSO/Telecommunications experience with a good blend of functional and technical skills in enterprise BSS systems and Solutions architecture.
• 4+ years of experience architecting and designing large scale Enterprise solutions.
• 2+ years of experience implementing or integrating complex systems and platforms including COTS, SaaS and 3rd party solutions using industry standard frameworks and technologies
• 2+ years of experience in an Architecture group working on a broad spectrum of end-to-end strategic solutions and roadmaps
• Experience and knowledge of BSS, OSS, IT, and industry standards in one or more of standards such as TMF, MEF, ITIL, IETF, IEEE is highly desired.
• Strong Communication & interpersonal skills: Communicates effectively at both the leadership and developer levels and needs to have strong communication and leadership skills with the proven ability to lead large matrix managed technical teams that may include multiple vendors
• Experienced in driving and realizing a complex/full stack end to end solution and how architecture/design decision impacts the delivery.
