Entry-Level Accountant

Your Role Will Involve

• Executing cost accounting tasks while ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Performing inventory cycle counts and resolving any discrepancies.
• Recording approved inventory adjustments in our ERP system.
• Maintaining precise cost layers aligned with purchasing and production activities.
• Supporting the job closing process and validating cost allocation accuracy.
• Analyzing production cost variances to assist in margin discussions.
• Preparing schedules for margin and cost analysis for review.
• Maintaining Bill of Materials (BOMs) and routings within the ERP system.
• Assisting with the financial setup of new materials and finished goods.
• Helping with sales and backlog reporting.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related positions (internship experience accepted).
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of general accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
• Familiarity with ERP systems or similar software is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with the accounting team.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year (based on experience).
