We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to construct and uphold operational dashboards using Grafana, supporting crucial DAA infrastructure, RPD activation workflows, and telemetry from vCMTS devices. This role emphasizes data visualization and query authoring across MongoDB aggregation pipelines and SQL systems, alongside clear and concise documentation. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a senior lead, convert business requirements into practical dashboard solutions, and troubleshoot any data discrepancies. Pay Rate
$30.00 to $40.00/hr. W2
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and refine Grafana dashboards for operations and engineering teams.
- Write and enhance queries for MongoDB aggregation pipelines and SQL-based data sources such as StarTree Pinot.
- Transform business requirements into effective and engaging dashboard visualizations.
- Address and resolve data issues and dashboard functionality concerns.
- Propose improvements in data structure for enhanced reporting.
- Document dashboard designs, query methodologies, and data models thoroughly.
Essential Experience
- Basic understanding of computer science concepts, including data structures, logic, and system interactions.
- Experience in writing SQL or similar query languages.
- Comfortable handling structured data formats like JSON and CSV.
- Fundamental knowledge of databases, including querying, data organization, and joins.
- Able to read and interpret code effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity to explore underlying causes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Open to feedback and coachable to develop skills.
- Attention to detail to ensure data integrity.
- Familiarity with Grafana or BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is a plus.
- Exposure to MongoDB or NoSQL databases is preferred.
- Knowledge of time-series or streaming data (Kafka, PromQL) is advantageous.
- Experience with JSON manipulation or data transformation scripting in Python or JavaScript is a bonus.
- Experience in a telecom or infrastructure operations environment is preferred.
- Interest in network technology or cable/broadband systems is valued.
- Experience presenting data insights to non-technical audiences is a plus.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

We assess skills, experience, and other relevant factors when determining the pay rate. The provided pay range reflects a W2 hourly rate; alternative employment options that may yield different pay rates could be available. W2 employees of Eliassen Group working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) match, and mandatory sick time as required by law.
